The Eye of Lucifer Synopsis
The film will start at the location of Tower Bridge where our credits will be showed in the night sky as the camera angle will progressing down towards the pebbled floor. We will use a high angle shot moving into a low level shot. Moments later our main character will then find a piece of paper with a building and the sign of the illuminati, which will light up and influence the character. As he not in 100% control of his own body, he makes his way towards the building. As he is walking away, we will use a long shot which will be of Tower Bridge whilst our actor is walking away. During his journey to the location we will use a various angle shots, for example bird eye view, extreme long shot, close ups, Oblique/Canted Angle (to suggest imbalance and transition) and hand held shots. The various angle shots will show the instability of the character
As he approaches the building, something is drawing him in and we will use a medium wide angled shot to get the front of the whole building into the shot, so the viewer feels as if there entering the building as well. As our character is walking through a dark and mysterious corridor, we will use close up shots to show facial expressions, but also Oblique and shots from behind the actor, which will keep the suspense and thrilling feeling throughout the whole seen as the audience will be feeling anxious.
Our character soon sees a group of people in a dimmed room, filled with candles and different objects, carrying out unusual rituals, for example saying odd sayings, signs of blood and reading from books. As our actor will not be going entering this room, we will shoot the scenes from the door crack and just slightly peeping through the door, whilst using medium and long shots to make the viewer feel uneasy about what is going on.
Soon after, our character will make his way to another room where he enters a library. As he is looking around, he finds an unusual book which shoots out by its self and places its self on a stand. This will be shot by using various shooting techniques, for example long and medium shots and also bird eye view shots. Our last scene will follow by that the books opens itself to a certain page with the sign of the illumninati- glowing and we will end it by zooming straight onto this page, followed by a black out. Throughout the whole two minutes of our opening we will not have any dialogue but have thrilling music instead. We will start off with calm but yet scary music at first and build up the tempo as the scenes progress until the end where the music will be very gripping and fast tempo as we are shooting straight into the book.
